I've also decided to join this project put on by the Brooklyn Library in NY. The project brings in sketchbooks filled by artists from around the world and puts them in a permanent collection of the Brooklyn Art Library. Before that happens, they tour the nation for a year. My sketchbook will be in ATL in April 2011.
I have been given the keys to a wonderful studio here at VCU and here are the three major rooms that make up my realm. First is the benchroom.
Then there is the machine room This is only one view, if you turn around, there are all kinds of great machines to use.
At last there is my studio space where I will spend most of my next two years of life pouring out my heart and soul in hopes to see the Lord's blessing on my work.
